Reccer's comments: If anyone in fandom still has not read Lori's Alone on the Water, then before you start grab a box of tissues and have them near. I don't every cry at fics. I don't cry at novels, yet this fic reduced me to sobbing tears. It is so real the emotions, so perfectly written and completely in character. This shows Sherlock at his best and his worst, and the worst way that Sherlock could ever leave this world. It's moving and broke my heart into a thousand pieces, then some. But don't let that turn you off. It is stunning and worth the emotional pain.
