Reccer's comments: This gorgeous, painful, tender, nakedly honest fic goes AU after Series 3 and does an amazing job dealing with grief and reconciliation and the passage of time. Mrs Hudson's final wish is for Sherlock not to be alone, and that's what this story does, very slowly and very carefully, with realism and respect regarding just how much healing and emotional growth Sherlock and John have to do for that to happen. The lovely ending is long-awaited and well-earned.
