John and Mary are firmly settled in suburban life. Every now and then John worries faintly because Sherlock has completely disappeared from the radar. Mycroft, as ever, is extremely unhelpful.
Then John’s life takes an unexpected turn and in less than twenty-four hours he finds himself on the continent, running for his life together with Mary. They end up in Eastern Europe and there he finds Sherlock, horribly changed and apparently having sold his soul to Moriarty, or worse…
With the Holmes brothers however, nothing ever is what it seems to be.
