Author's summary: Even before “ASiB” aired, I thought that Sherlock wanted to be a Pirate and Mycroft used to make treasure maps for him.
Reccer's comments: I'm surprised that none of QueenStardust's exquisite art has yet been recc'd, especially as this artist has been working in the fandom since 2010. Selecting one piece was once again a challenge, but as this drawing was so beautiful (both characters and background), I had to choose it. I adore the premise and the contrasting expressions of the brothers: Sherlock seriously pondering the map and Mycroft's small smile at seeing his brother so fully engaged. If you are a fan of the Holmes brothers and John/&Sherlock, I would heartily encourage you to browse this artist's output.

I know lots of people have migrated to Tumblr, which certainly has its good points, but I love LJ comms because it's so much easier to find things via tags and to hold conversations. But we each have our own blogging preferences and only limited time, so don't feel bad! :D
