Title: Take It With You When You Go
Author:
azure_horizon
Pairing: Sherlock/John
Length: ~2000 words
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: none
Verse: Sherlock BBC
Author's summary: When John leaves, Sherlock forgets which language he's supposed to speak.
Reccer's comments: I love fics that manage to tell so much more than you would expect from the word count. This is a beautiful, heartbreaking picture of a relationship that just won't work, until it does. Sherlock and John in this just keep hurting each other, in ways that feel so real, so believable, that when I'm reading it, it's hard to imagine their relationship being any other way. The ending is wonderful; quietly satisfying, perfectly suited to the rest of the story.
